Get the app on your phone
Android phones only, Android 10 or newer. It takes about ten minutes the first time.
Download
The app is not on Google Play yet, so you download it straight from here.
Download Trip VerdictIf Chrome says the file "can harm your device", tap Download anyway. That warning shows for every app that does not come from the Play Store.
You will also need
An account for your licence code. It takes a minute and a new account starts with a free trial when one is on offer.
Create account / log inInstall and switch it on
- Open the downloaded file and tap Install. If asked, allow installs from your browser or Files app.
- Open Trip Verdict and tap Open Accessibility settings. Choose Installed apps, pick Trip Verdict and switch it on.
- If the switch is greyed out, go back, tap App info, tap the three dots at the top right and choose Allow restricted settings. Then repeat step 2.
- Type your licence code into the app (you find it on your account page) and tap Save code and check now.
- In the phone's battery settings for Trip Verdict choose Unrestricted, and switch off Remove permissions if app is unused, so Android does not turn it off.
- Tap Test the popup to see the three boxes. Then open Bolt and go online.
Settings wording can differ a little between phones.
If something does not work
The Accessibility switch is greyed out
Open the app's info page, tap the three dots at the top right and choose Allow restricted settings, then switch Accessibility on again.
The box does not appear over Bolt offers
Check that Accessibility is still on for Trip Verdict and that battery is set to Unrestricted. Then tap Test the popup. If the test works but Bolt offers do not show it, tell us and send a screenshot of the offer.
The app says my licence is not valid
Check the code on your account page and that the pass has not run out. A licence works on up to two phones.
How do I update the app?
When there is a new version, download it from this page again and install it over the old one. Your settings stay.
